*  Greek is compulsory for students who have at least one Greek Cypriot parent. As of 2011, Class 4 students will take the International GCSE Modern Greek at the end of the year and GCE Advanced Level Modern Greek at the end of Class 5.  Students currently in Class 5 will take both the International GCSE and A Level in June.

Note: in Class 6 students are prepared for the “Πολύ Καλή Γνώση Ελληνικής Γλώσσας” government examinations

***Number of periods depends on whether 3 or 4 GCE A levels are selected
